Visible light has a wavelength in range from about 380 or 400 nanometres to about 760 or 780 nm. Within this range comprises red, green and blue light of the spectrum. Infrared light becomes visible at 625 nm. All images taken make use of red, green and blue light; and infrared. but shot higher in the spectrum than a normal camera does around the 665 nm. As IR Light passes through plant matter it gives images a surreal and yet wonderful look.
Black n White
Black&White
These images are a mixture of true Black and White, Infra Red Black and White and the odd Sepia.
Colour
Colour
I use two main bodies for my Colour work an older Samsung DX10 (The Workhorse) and a Samsung NX10 (The little Burrow). All of my colour work is experiemental. I've been asked in the past "why can't you take a normal photo"? To which i've answered "because I'm not a normal person"!

My name is Liam Diamond and I am an amateur photographer from Sheffield, UK.I enjoy experimenting with Infra Red Photography (665nm) mainly landscapes although I have tried other variations. I have a passion for Experimental colour also Black and White.I firmly believe in individualism, from the petal to the leaf to the clouds. Everything on this wonderful planet of ours is a joy to behold and it is my dream to share my own perspective of this with you.As Jamiroquai once sang "This blue sphere of talented dreams". So few people take the time to just stop and look. I hope you enjoy my images, as it is my aim in life to make you look, behold and hopefully appreciate the world as I see it.
